Jr Lancer baseball is a year-round commitment. During the Fall and Winter months we work to be as flexible as possible for multi-sport youth athletes. Once baseball season begins (April-July) the expectation is baseball is the primary focus for the player. For full program information, visit our Program Info page.
The Jr Lancers organization requires every player to try out every year with the exception of U12.
Each U11 player has a 2-year commitment to play for the organization covering the player's U11 and U12 season. This policy is related to the time invested in planning and fundraising for the annual U12 trip to an out-of-state national baseball tournament. Planning for this trip begins during the U11 season.
As the official feeder program for Brookfield Central High School, Jr Lancer Baseball is committed to fostering a sense of community and team continuity by encouraging players to grow and develop alongside their peers. To support these goals, incoming families (those who did not play with the Jr Lancers in the 2025 season) must attend the tryout for the player’s grade level.
Our program is designed for families who reside in the Elmbrook School District boundaries aligned to Brookfield Central High School. While there may be occasional exceptions, priority will be given to players who meet the above residency or eligibility criteria, as we aim to build teams that reflect the community and feed into our local high school program.
If you are registering before the official tryout dates for each age group are released, we will contact you via email when tryout schedules are released to ensure the day/time works, or to schedule an alternate tryout BEFORE the official tryout date.
If you have any questions on residency, age levels or anything else, please email us at info@jrlancerbaseball.com.
