Jr Lancers Program

Eligibility

• Our players typically reside in the Brookfield Central High School area of the Elmbrook School District or neighboring communities.

• Players must be in the specified grade or age eligible as of May 1st of the upcoming season as outlined by WSYBL rules. For example, a player in the U10/4th grade must either be in 4th grade OR cannot turn 11 before May 1st prior to the season. 

  • • It is the Jr Lancers preference that kids play within their grade level. 

Costs

Program costs are evaluated on an annual basis and cover the cost to train and play:

• Uniforms are included (and typically include: Home Jersey, Away Jersey, Pants, Socks, Belt, Hat)

• Registration into a Select League: ~16 Games - Umpires, Field Prep, Game Balls

• Registration into 5 or 6 Select Tournaments including our Brookfield Backyard Bash – Father's Day Weekend

• Year-round training

• Dedicated / professional training budget

Commitment

Jr Lancers baseball is a competitive program that requires a considerable commitment year-round (September - July). We are also a program that respects multi-sport/multi-interest youth players as best as we can during the off season. Once baseball season begins (April-July) the expectation is baseball is the primary focus for the player.

Fall: September - October

• 1 - 2 outdoor practices per week

• Some teams may participate in scrimmages or Fall Ball
  
  

Winter: December - March

• 1 - 2 indoor practices per week at our indoor facility “The Castle”

Spring: April-July

• 0 - 2 outdoor practices per week

• Approx. 16 league games

  • Away games typically within 30 min in driving distance of Brookfield

• 4 - 7 select tournaments, including our Brookfield Backyard Bash

  • Tournament locations vary but typically within 1 hr driving distance of Brookfield
